Patty Nashelsky, President    
Term Expires: 2018

Patty graduated from Siena College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science. She further earned her Juris Doctorate degree at Hofstra University School of Law.  Patty was a practicing attorney for 10 years before deciding to stay home to raise her four sons.  Patty began her involvement with the district through the PTSA.  Patty was the Vice President for Daniel Warren from 2008-2010, the President of the PTSA from 2010-2012 and Advisor to the President from 2012 until now.  Additionally, for the last five years, Patty has led the Rye Neck Advocacy committee meeting with our elected officials and other school districts to advocate for our students and to keep local control of our school district.  Patty looks forward to joining the Board of Education to further advocate for the students of Rye Neck.

Deborah Aulfinger, Vice President    
Term Expires: 2020

Deborah has served on the board since May 2011. She has served as one of the board representatives for the Committee on Special Education since 2011.  This 2016-2017 school year, Deborah will again serve as one of the board representatives for the Committee on Special Education as well the Safety Committee and Board Liaison the PTSA.

Deborah Aulfinger has been a Rye Neck resident for the past 23 years and was born and raised in Greenwich Ct. The Aulfinger family has lived in the same home in the Rye Neck School District for over 75 years and attended our local public schools throughout those years. The family has personally watched our school district change and develop over the years to become the award winning school district that is today. Prior to having her older daughter enter into Rye Neck Schools Mrs. Aulfinger co-chaired The Greenwich YMCA’s Annual Campaign for Youth for 2 years and was a avid volunteer at the Greenwich Y, raising money for children’s programs for families in need of financial assistance. Deborah, along with her husband, Erich, a Rye Neck graduate, are technology consultants. 

Deborah and Erich have 2 daughters, Sara (16) and Ella (9).  Before becoming a board member, Deborah was an active member of the Rye Neck PTSA.  From 2006-2010  she chaired and co-chaired The PTSA Annual Spring Fair. In 2009-2011 Deborah was the Vice President of Fundraising on the Executive Board. During her time on the board, Deborah had a personal mission of looking closely at the economy and how it affects our families and the community around us. Mrs. Aulfinger spent endless hours researching, creating and implementing ways in which funds could be raised without causing a financial strain to both our district families and our community businesses.  Deborah believes that it is this type of planning, long-term thinking and knowledge that will help Rye Neck in the future years as we potentially face difficult budget. Deborah still works closely with the PTSA working with several committees and volunteers at both her daughters school functions frequently.

Allen Hodys, Trustee    

Term Expires: 2018

Al Hodys was re-elected to the Rye Neck Board of Education in 2015 and has served on the Board since 2009.  Mr. Hodys is looking forward to continuing his service on the Board with great enthusiasm.

He has served as a member of the Board’s Audit Committee for the past seven years and he has chaired that committee for the past six years. He has served as the Board representative to the Westchester Putnam School Boards and to the RNSD Safety Committee and he is actively engaged with the Board’s Policy Group.

In his professional life away from the Board, Mr. Hodys is General Counsel for NES Associates, LLC,  a small government contractor in Northern Virginia serving primarily the Department of Defense. Prior to his work as a defense contractor, Mr. Hodys was a practicing attorney in New York City.

He and his wife Debbie have two children, Cole and Julia, who attend the Rye Neck Schools.

Dan Wice, Trustee    

Term Expires:  2019

Dan Wice has been a resident in the Rye Neck School District for over 25 years after growing up in Bloomfield, CT.  His wife Stephanie is a Rye Neck graduate, and their children, Olivia, Sophia and Timothy, are all current students of the school system. Dan graduated from Clark University with a degree in economics and has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Currently he is a Financial Advisor focusing on helping people with their Life, Estate and Retirement Planning strategies. Dan is looking forward to serving as a board member and continuing his involvement in the Rye Neck school system.

Pietro Fasolino, Trustee    
Term Expires: 2019

Pietro Fasolino has lived in the Rye Neck School District for 28 years and is a Rye Neck graduate, Class of 1995.  Pietro graduated Flagler College with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a double minor in history and political science.  He is the owner of AEF Sales, a manufacturer's representative, engineering and design company, covering from Maine to New Jersey. Pietro's focus is on the New York City area working with the owners, engineers, architects and contractors of the most recognized buildings in the city,  Pietro and his wife Cindy, also a Rye Neck graduate, Class of 1994, have three children attending Rye Neck, one in each of the schools.  They are the fourth generation Rye Neck students.


Jennifer Rubin, Trustee

Term Expires:  2020


Jennifer Rubin, a life-long resident of Westchester, has been living in Rye Neck for 19 years.  She attended New York University where she received her Master's Degree in Biology/Neuroscience.  For the past 12 years, Jennifer has enjoyed teaching at the Early Childhood Center in Rye.  She has three children in the district.


Jennifer has been actively involved in Rye Neck since 2005, where she first volunteered as Head Class Parent in her daughter's kindergarten classroom.  A dedicated member of the PTSA previously serving on the Budget Committee and on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Bellows and the Middle School, she is currently the Corresponding Secretary.


Additionally, Jennifer serves on the High School Principal's Advisory Committee and the District's Programs and Priorities Committee lending a voice to discussions on the school budget and valued programs.


Jennifer looks forward to serving as a trustee on the Rye Neck School Board continuing her devotion to our community.
