The following scholarships are currently available for consideration by Rye Neck High School students.  See below for more information about each of them or see the Scholarship Bulletin Board outside the Counseling Services Department offices.  Please see Mrs. Kane in the Counseling Services Department for applications or if you have any questions.

2 Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards   Seniors planning to attend college in the fall who are of Hispanic heritage.  Must have a GPA of at least 3.0.  Apply online at:  https://hhfawards.hispanicheritage.org

 3 Horatio Alger Scholarships   Seniors planning to attend college in the fall who can show critical financial need.  Must have involvement in co-curricular and community activities and have a GPA of 2.0 or better.  Apply at:  https://scholars.horatioalger.org/about-our-scholarship-programs/state-scholarships/
  Up to $10,000 (NY State Awards)
$25,000 (106 National Awards)

4 Heisman High School Scholarship   Seniors planning to attend college in the fall with a GPA of at least 3.0.  Must be a member of a Rye Neck sports team.  Candidates must also show leadership in their community.  Apply at:   https://heismanscholarship.com/about/program-timeline/    $5,000 (National Winners)

5 Harrison Mamaroneck Rotary Club Student of the Year Scholarship   Seniors who live in the Rye Neck School District who exemplify the Rotary International motto "Service Above Self" through community service (in and out of school).  Required essay determines "Students of the Month" and those students become eligible for the scholarship in the spring.   $1,000   Return to Mrs. Kane ASAP (Final deadline for the year is in April, 2019)
               
6 Coca-Cola Scholars Program   Seniors planning to attend college in the fall with a GPA of 3.0 or better.  Involvement with school and community will be considered.  Apply online at: https://www.coca-colascholarsfoundation.org/apply/    $20,000 (150 National Scholars)   October 31, 2019 (5:00 PM)
