The following scholarships are currently available for consideration by Rye Neck High School students.  See below for more information about each of them or see the Scholarship Bulletin Board outside the Counseling Services Department offices.  Please see Mrs. Kane in the Counseling Services Department for applications or if you have any questions.

3 Harrison Mamaroneck Rotary Club Student of the Year Scholarship   Seniors who live in Rye Neck School District who exemplify the Rotary International motto "Service Above Self" through community service (in and out of school).  Required essay determines "Students of the Month" and those students become eligible for the scholarship in the Spring.    $1,000   Return to Guidance ASAP (Final deadline for the year is in April, 2019)
 
8 New York State PTA Jenkins Memorial Scholarship   Seniors planning to attend a SUNY college in the fall and major in Education.  (Rye Neck will choose 2 candidates from completed applications received).   $3,000   Must be in Guidance by December 10, 2018
               
9 Burger King Scholars Program   Seniors planning to attend college (2 or 4 year) in the fall.  Criteria will include GPA (2.5 or better), community service, extracurricular activities and work experience (for some awards).  Apply at https://www.scholarsapply.org/burgerkingscholars/    $1,000 - $50,000   December 15, 2018
               
10 AXA Achievement Scholarship   Seniors planning to attend college (2 or 4 year) in the fall.  Must demonstrate ambition and self-drive in school, community or workplace.  Apply at:  https://us.axa.com/axa-foundation/AXA-achievement-scholarship.html  

$10,000 (52 State winners)
An additional $15,000 (10 national winners)

  December 15, 2018 (but only first 10,000 applications will be accepted)
               
11 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program   Seniors planning to attend college in the Fall with a GPA of 3.0 who have financial need.  Must demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship at school and in the community.  Apply at www.reaganfoundation.org/education/

   $10,000 awards (and renewable for up to 3 years for a total of $40,000).  Up to twenty (20) awards given.   January 4, 2019
               
12 Ron Brown Scholars Program   African American seniors who are planning to attend college in the Fall.  Must show leadership potential, participate in community service activities and have financial need.   $40,000 over 4 years (2 awards)   Must be in Guidance by January 3, 2019
               
13 APIASF Scholarship Program   Seniors planning to attend college in the Fall who are of Asian or Pacific Islander ethnicity.  There are several scholarships offered in this program and each may have different eligibility requirements.  Apply at:  www.apiasf.org/scholarship_apiasf.html    Varies from $2,500 - $20,000   Completed application must be in Guidance bty January 4, 2019.
               
14 Jandon Foundation Scholarship   Students planning to attend college in the Fall who can show substantial financial need.  Selection criteria includes grades, SAT/ACT scores, extra-curricular activities and evidence of good character.  Apply online at:  http://jandonscholars.org/    $12,000 over 4 years (15 awards)   Must be returned to Guidance by February 7, 2019
