SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER COLLEGE CONFERENCE

Representatives from more than 275 two-year and four-year colleges, nursing schools and business schools will participate in the Southern Westchester College Conference to be held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains on Monday, April 23 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. 

 

The 2018 Southern Westchester College Conference is free to high-school students, parents and anyone else interested in higher education. Students can meet one-on-one with admissions counselors at their booths to discuss entrance requirements, campus life, application deadlines and majors. Representatives will have brochures, catalogs and other literature to describe their institutions.  For more information please visit the website:

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Guidance Department receives many scholarships for Rye Neck seniors. They are listed on the Scholarship link of the Guidance Department page on the Rye Neck school website.  We continually add to the list so check back often for new ones. They are also posted on the Scholarship Bulletin board outside the Guidance Department office.  Please see Mrs. Kane in the Guidance Department for applications or if you have any questions.  Click HERE to view the current scholarships.

FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FSA) AND THE FINANCIAL AID TOOLKIT

Approximately 95 Directors of Admissions and Assistant Admissions Deans are coming to the Counseling and Guidance Department.  College representatives provide information and an important opportunity for students to ask questions and speak with the people who may read their applications.
